The hadith are so deep and I like the way that Ustadha makes them relevant with examples we can actually relate to.
Tafsir Classes are very enlightening and it brings to light the true beauty of the Quran al Karim. She also includes hadith when explaining verses that are relevant, then she discusses how the verses could be drawn into our own lives and what lesson we can learn from verses that are pertinent in this day and age.
It’s just wonderful to realize that, when reading the Quran and other Arabic texts, I now understand so much more of what I read and about how the sentences are put together. It is a blessing and big naimah of Allah ta’ala that He has chosen me to attend these classes, that he has given me taufiq of attending these classes. I love Arabic classes- they are certainly my favorite. Sister Sobia is an amazing teacher. I especially love the way Ustada teaches us, it’s just wonderful. Hadith class is very interesting! The pace is just perfect. I feel that these details related to context and multiple meanings are very beneficial in retaining the understanding of the verses. What I am very impressed with, is that Alimah Sobia is approachable, contactable and open to suggestions, Jazakallah khair this puts the student at ease and it makes learning pleasurable! I have learnt that the best of friends one can have is only Allah swt and He alone should be enough for a believer. Recordings are available for all our classes The Qur’an classes are really good and beneficial, mashaAllāh; having previously read only Quran without any tafseer I now can understand how neccessary and benefical is tafseer, as finally some light is shed on many verses on which I have spent much time wondering what could they mean.
