The Roomba kept getting stuck under furniture, we purchased new furniture it couldn't get under and part of the top sensor broke from trying to force itself out of under furniture, which then had a sharp edge that dragged across fabic as it went by. I live in a bi level, with hardwood, carpet, tile, pergo all on one floor ~ and the Roomba adjust to it ALL. We have run it once downstairs and upstairs.

I must say that both robots pick up a lot of dust and dog hair, as I have two pups who shed quite a bit.
