The story and characters are fine, not the best, but original. It was one of my favorite scenarios where humans leave the earth and engage in a galactic battle with monsters.I wonder if the anime would be much more interesting if Ledo never got transported far away from this conflict and if it all took place in space.I still recommend that you watch it. :DCan't put this more bluntly, Gundam Seed is the worst Gundam series of them all and ruined the entire franchise for me. These are the best in the sports genre so enjoy watching. What a great great sacrifice on his part!

Its an old classic but it really is a decent mecha anime for "little" kids. It's a concentrated shot of cool that's easy to come back to over and over again.
